Fit long
I have worn and loved the white painter pants for several years. Love love love. Ordered the black duck carpenter pants hoping for same experience. Jury is still out. Love the pockets (especially the “cell phone” pocket.
They seem longer than the 32” ordered (hoping for some shrinkage there)

Very happy with the quality. Have had these in the past and they lasted a long time. Only problem I have is the legs are longer then what I ordered so I will have to get them shortened

Material is of good quality and thick, made to take a lot of punishment but still you’ll look clean and professional. Fits as sizing advertised and the shipping is fast with no issues. Well worth the money and very comfortable to wear!!!!!

Little change over the years
I've always bought dickies for work because to the great durability and good fit.
The only negative change is that they made the hammer loop much smaller and now it's useless.

A great over all pant !!
I used to wear regular blue jeans almost exclusively until I tried these pants. I love the fit and the material. They are comfortable and wear well. I have sometimes taken the hammer loop feature off (cut it off) if I use the pants just for day wear and not work wear. They have a good choice of colours but I think they discontinued the very light tan one a while ago.
I would say give these a try!

More pros than cons for these pants...
Pros:
-Fits as expected
-Has enough room to move comfortably in while doing physical jobs
-Lots of pockets for holding tools, cellphone, etc.
-Fabric is more durable than denim or twill
-Fabric is warmer than denim or twill (ie: good for cold weather, bad in hot/humid weather)
-Dust & dirt seems to brush off easily enough if pants get dirty from either one (albeit not fully but the pants still look decent enough though)
Cons:

-Hammer loop on left side is too small for thicker hammer handles or heavier hammers
-Front hands pockets are a little bit narrow for fitting hands through

im so thankful hammer heads provided me with dickies clothing like the these. it was comfortable and had enough pockets like the denims. to compare it with the denims i prefer denims just because the sanded ducks were a little tighter on the waste

I wear these jeans every day
I used to wear a popular brand blue jean to work, but the quality and fit changed a few years back. Dickies Carpenter Jeans are an improvement in quality and fit. Glad to have found these. The small side pocket is perfect for a cellphone.

What I expected so far
